The 2017 Mazda CX-9 will not only be coming in with a new exterior design but it will also come with an improved powertrain with better fuel economy. How will it fare when compared to the Hyundai Santa Fe?
The 2017 Mazda CX-9 will be coming in with a 2.5 liter I4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be delivering about 227hp and 310lb ft of torque.
The Hyundai Santa Fe, on the other hand, will come in with a 3.3 liter V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will be delivering about 290hp and 252lb ft of torque. The Santa Fe will be able to return about 18mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.
Compared to the Mazda CX-9, the Hyundai Santa Fe will also come with a little bit more interior space to offer.
The Mazda CX-9 will retail for $29,833 while the Hyundai Santa Fe will retail for $29,335.
