Every Jeep Wrangler released will be followed by a custom tuned model getting launched by independent workshops from all over the world. This is no different for the latest Wrangler, which has just been updated with a newer custom model called the Freedom Edition.
Costing at $23,390, the Wrangler Freedom Edition is not that different from the original Wranglers. It runs on the 3.6L V6 engine that is mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox and is equipped with the best off-roading features from Jeep.
This allows the Jeep Wrangler Freedom Edition to develop 285hp and 260ft-lbs of torque. In terms of fuel economy, the Wrangler returns 17mpg in the city and 21mpg on the highway.
Apparently, most of the changes are with the design features of the Freedom Edition. In detail, the Wrangler Freedom Edition comes with a blue paint job and Oscar Mike symbols everywhere. Among the features on the Freedom Edition includes 17-inch by 7.5-inch aluminium wheels, P255/75 R17 OWL on/off road tires, power convenience group, heated mirrors, power windows and many more.
While nobody has a clue on the sole purpose of the Wrangler Freedom Edition, the vehicle should be able to appeal to the patriotic population that is in desperate need for a car which can carry the American flag with pride.
