We know that Jeep will be keeping their box on frame design for a little while longer but that does not mean that they will not be giving the Jeep Wrangler an exterior upgrade.
Based on the new spy shots we have seen, the 2017 Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with an upgraded design but do not expect it to be a full overhaul. The test models were heavily covered in camo stickers and tarps but it is clear that Wrangler did tone down on the boxy design.
The windshield looks a lot steeper now and the front end now comes with a more aerodynamic design. The new aerodynamic design and the lighter body weight should help improve the performance and fuel economy of the Jeep Wrangler significantly.
It is believed that the Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with a V6 diesel engine although there were also talk about the Wrangler possibly getting hybrid powertrain as well.
The Jeep Wrangler should be making its debut next year.
