There is no doubt that when Fallout 4 gets released, it will come with better graphics since the game is going to make its debut on both the Xbox One and PS4. Then again, fans should not hope for anything revolutionary with the game’s technicalities.
This is due to the possibility that Fallout 4 be powered by the same game engine which was used on Skyrim. While there has yet to be any official word on this, such a prediction was made after reviewing Fallout 3.
Back then, the game was running on the game engine that was used by Oblivion. Of course, Bethesda did some tweaking here and there to improve Fallout 3’s technicalities. Such methodology is expected to replicate with Fallout 4.
Another way to back this up is through understanding Bethesda. The game developer has this habit of prioritizing profits ahead of everything else. With this attitude, there is no doubt that Fallout 4 will also arrive on the Xbox 360 and PS3 when released. If the game is to run on a new engine, it won’t be compatible with previous gen consoles.
With that being said, fans should not carry high hopes for Fallout 4 to boast an insanely detailed graphics. Otherwise, they are in for a big disappointment.
