Half Life 3 is one of the most anticipated games around and its arrival is inevitable. Despite that fact, nobody has a clue on when the game will make its debut and the fans are growing tired after being put to wait for over 10 years now.
While Half Life 3’s status remains a mystery to the masses, the plot, on the other hand, is somehow confirmed and already revealed back at Half Life 2. If fans are to refer back to the last Half Life game, Half Life 3 will surely start with the Combine acquiring the Borealis.
Throughout the game, the Combine will be studying the Borealis before being able to fully use the weapon of mass destruction. Of course, the antagonist won’t be able to destroy the planet as it is constantly challenged by the protagonist, together with Alyx & the G-Man.
The heroes in the game will manage to retrieve the Borealis and destroy it once and for all. This will result in the Combine being forced to a full retreat, thus restoring the peace in the planet.
Of course, there is no way for Half Life 3 to work without any major deaths happening to the good side. While there is no indication on deaths, we believe that either Alyx or the G-Man will be killed in action.
All in all, this is the most possible plot for Half Life 3. Even the fan-made Half Life film believes that the above will be the best plot for the highly anticipated sequel. Now, all that is left is for Valve to launch Half Life 3 once and for all.
