Screenshots coming from the Google Nexus 5 have been leaked this morning, giving a clear image on what is to be expected from Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat UI. While the phone is yet to be released, it is still something we can work on as we near the launch.
The picture was released by someone who claimed to have held the device. There are a couple of images that can be seen. On the top left, we can see a red image that you can pull out from Settings-About Phone. The red screenshot appears to be more Nestle than Google!
The top-right image on the other hand gives us a look at the home screen. As per normal the notification bar remains at the top containing the similar battery life, clock and active connections. Below it there is the search bay with an instruction quoting “Say ‘OK Google’”. It appears to be the command to perform a voice search. It is still unknown if we can use it when the Google Nexus 5 is locked.
Just a gentle reminder, until the “Nestle phone” is released, we will not be able to confirm all these details
