The DROID MAXX from Motorola has engraved its name in history as the longest lasting smartphone. Of course, we have long past that now as other smartphone manufacturers are able to match the DROID MAXX offerings.
As such, Motorola fan boys are calling out the phone maker to create the sequel to the DROID MAXX. Some might call it the Maxx 2 but recent reports suggest that it will be known as something else.
The word is that Verizon is unveiling a specially made device from Motorola for the carrier. It is known the Motorola Droid Turbo. The latter is a symbol of Verizon’s ongoing collaboration with Motorola and it will be something special for both parties.
While no details were given, the word Turbo itself suggests three possibilities. The first is that the smartphone is going to be super powerful. The second is with the smartphone being able to last super long with a new revolutionary battery and the third is probably both the first and the second possibilities combined into one ultimate smartphone.
If scenario two, or three, is to be the case, than the Droid Turbo will actually be the successor to the DROID MAXX 2. As exciting as that sounds, there has yet to be any confirmation from both Motorola and Verizon so it is best to take the above with a pinch of salt.
Since Verizon is up to unveiling something big, it is best to wait for an announcement from the Big Red carrier before jumping in excitement.
