Jeep’s parent company, Chrysler, has announced a mass recall on the latest Wrangler, Dodge Grand Caravan and the Chrysler Town & Country over an issue with the tyre pressure monitoring system.
Chrysler revealed that the system is faulty as it constantly gives off false warning. Chrysler intends to fix that by recalling a total of 10,390 vehicles.
The issue is said to be with the tyre pressure monitoring system, which is wrongly configured. To fix it, Chrysler aims at reconfiguring the TPM module through disabling a test mode which was mistakenly switched to on.
Of course, the recall is a pretty simple one and owners of the affected vehicles are already notified of the issue going on with the vehicles. Also, it is important to note that there has yet to be any deaths or accidents caused by this mishap.
