Come next year, Ford will be launching the next-generation Mustang GT. The upcoming muscle car is en route to being one of the most powerful cars around as it looks to come equipped with King Cobra parts.
This was teased yesterday through a press release from Ford. The American carmaker described that Mustang GT as something that is built to be a street and strip drag car. Ford also revealed that the King Cobra parts will be listed as optional which means that consumers can design their own King Cobra package.
Of course, the complete King Cobra Ford Mustang was already unveiled during the last SEMA auto show and it arrived with more than 600hp. If consumers are looking for the ultimate prize, they can opt for the Super Pack supercharger kit with their Ford Mustang GT.
There are two other pre-set packages offered with the muscle car and they are identified to be the Ford Racing’s Drag Pack and the Handling Pack. The former comes with heavy-duty half shafts, and a rear sub-frame kit with pre-installed high-performance bushings to improve traction and put optimum power to the ground under hard acceleration.
The Handling Pack, on the other hand, will lower the car approximately one inch with front and rear lowering springs – the front springs on pre-assembled struts. It also adds in rear shocks and a stabilizer bar kit.
All in all, 2015 looks to be a super exciting year for the Ford Mustang GT. The car is certainly going to be something special, thanks to the many offerings that comes with it.
