It has been reported that the HTC One 2, known as the M8, will take over from the success of the HTC One. There is speculation that the device will come with 3GB of RAM, run KitKat 4.4 and HTC Sense 6.0. it has also been said that the handset could have issues.
It seems that when the HTC One was launched not all handsets were shipped in perfect condition. Some were reported to have build issues, which included gaps in the metal and plastic along with scratches. Those considering buying the HTC One 2 M8 may therefore want to check the exterior of the handset before taking their device home and this would save time having to return it to the retailer.
It is rare to come across dead pixels but owners may wish to download the Dead Pixel Detect and Fix app and check for dead pixels on the HTC One 2 M8.
We also heard that some handsets could be affected with abnormal battery drain, owners may wish to check for this. It is said that the device should be charged first time around for at least four hours following being notified of the battery running low. If the handset seems to drain the battery fast consider returning it for a replacement.
