The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado arrived on the market and when it did it went down very well among the others in the mid-size pick-up truck category. Thanks to Chevrolet launching the vehicle in the turbo diesel this means that the Colorado has now grown up and belongs among the big boys.
However there are some car reviewers who have been making comparisons with trucks that are much larger, including the Ford F150 and the Toyota Tundra. This really hasn’t been a fair comparison. However if the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Master Chief concept makes its way onto the market, this will all change.
We saw the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 concept shown off at the SEMA event and it was bragging off many thousands of dollars’ worth of Mopar accessories, it also had new colours. All that was needed was for the brow shade to be extended and you would have the MJOLNIR Mk. 6 helmet with wheels attached.
We have no idea as to when we can expect to see the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 concept hit the streets and we are not even going to guess what price tag it will have. However hopefully we will see it make an arrival before next summer and when it does it will be able to better compete with much bigger trucks.
