KitKat 4.4 has been out for some time now but those who own the Samsung Galaxy S3 have not managed to get their hands on it yet. This could change soon though if a leaked document is to be believed as the KitKat update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 could rollout from April through May around the world.
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 haven’t been all that impressed as the update list which was recently revealed didn’t include their handset. Now a document has come to light which does mention that the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Grand is going to get updated.
How legitimate the document is cannot be verified as the model number for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was wrong, so there is a good chance that this could be a hoax. But on saying this errors in genuine documents are not unheard of.
Features of the KitKat 4.4 update include updates to Emoji keyboard, album art on the lockscreen, white icons in the notification bar, wireless printing, Google Photos and Google Drive support and short cut to the camera on the lock screen.
