There is no denying that Samsung’s Galaxy Note series is probably the most successful line of phablets around. Early in every year, the Galaxy S creates that benchmark. Most of the traits on the Galaxy S are often brought over to the Galaxy Note before being tailored for the phablet.
This feat is expected to repeat itself this year. With the Galaxy S5 already unveiled and coming this April, we can already expect the most likely features that will be coming to the upcoming Galaxy Note 4.
For a start, the Galaxy S5 has that fingerprint scanner that secures the device. The upcoming Note 4 is not expected to have that but they will feature something new like signature recognition.
As for the built, expect the Note 4 to get a thing or two from the Galaxy S5. This includes being water-resistant and dust-proof. The casing on the other hand will be based on the existing Note 3 instead of the Galaxy S4.
The Note 4 is rumoured to come with plenty of new features. Word has it that Samsung is planning to test out the market by releasing a three sided display Galaxy Note 4 to certain markets. If this is true, then users can then read messages without unlocking their device,
If everything mentioned above were to materialize, then expect the Note 4 to come with bigger storage capacity. It could be that the Note 4 will have 64GB internal memory with an expandable memory card slot.
Despite all the excitement, all of these are still rumours and it is best taken with a pinch of salt. Last year, Samsung unveiled the Note 3 during the IFA 2013. Expect this to be the same in IFA 2014.
