Just a month after the release of Resident Evil 6, Capcom stole the spotlight once again announcing the development of Resident Evil 7. The Resident Evil community is displeased with Resident Evil 6 having an all action gameplay.
Capcom is aware of the game shortcoming. A statement was made by the game developer which hints that Resident Evil 7 will come with that much requested horror genre like how it was in the first trilogy. Capcom further praised the franchise being successful thanks to the realism of its epidemic disaster.
Despite the change in genre, Resident evil did see its protagonist grow with the story. He was once a rookie police officer when he debuted but now is one of the most important person in the world. This strongly hints Resident Evil 7 to see the protagonist grows more mature to overcome the obstacles in the game.
Capcom concluded by promising Resident Evil 7 to have more features and new possibilities that will compete in the global market without any disappointment.
