Rockstar is known for its games and their wide-ranging appeal – think of GTA, Bully and Red Dead Redemption, for example. These games have garnered the developer an enviable fanbase that’s hard to beat.
Recently, as you may have heard (!) GTA 5 came out, but the company isn’t slacking off and is working on its next big thing. The fans are wondering what it’ll be. Take Two’s CEO said that it wanted to make some existing games into permanent franchises.
So, we might see Bully 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Red Dead Redemption was one of the best games ever, so it needs a sequel! It follows the same sort of story as GTA, but is set in the (very) Wild West. It’s open game play, with horses and revolvers instead of flash cars and Uzis.
Zelnick said that Bully 2 was under consideration by devs, and that if there was space at Rockstar Vancouver then they might get weaving! Rockstar Vancouver brought us Max Payne, and there are rumours of talks about Bully 2.
Gamers reckon that Rockstar and Take Two are the developing dream team, and whatever the two have up their collective sleeve will be just as amazing as GTA 5.
