Both Microsoft and Sony have been on a tussle with each other on the gaming platform. With the PS4 and Xbox One released, there have been a lot of debates and arguments on which is the better console. Today we won’t look at the specifications on both machines. Instead, let us see the build of both PS4 and Xbox One.
If both devices are being placed side-by-side, we can see Sony’s PS4 being a sports car and Microsoft’s Xbox one resembling a powerful SUV. Both consoles brag a great performance but PS4 looks to be the more fragile of the two. Microsoft has built the Xbox One in a way that the machine offers longevity and stability. That explains the brick-liked size of Xbox One.
However, what is inside the Xbox One that results to such a size? Microsoft next-gen console is actually housing a huge 112mm fan and a great heat sink to ensure no overheating issues that occurred on its predecessor, the Xbox 360. Even the slim version of the Xbox 360 is carefully designed to provide the best ventilation.
With everything laid out on the table, it is worrying for the PS4 as these consoles are expected to run the gaming world for at least 5 years to come. Only time will tell if Sony’s PS4 is durable enough to prevent any heating issues. What do you think of this?
