The Sony PS4 has already made its way to the store shelves and a common problem has surfaced. Many users are reporting on a blue light, flashing repeatedly as well as the machine failing to boot or even display correctly.
Just like the blue screen of death over on the PC and the Yellow Light of Death for the PS3, the PS4 is dubbed to be the blue light of death. Sony revealed the blinking blue light to indicate that the PS4 have no video or audio output to your television. Also, after the machine blinks blue, it indicates the device to be powering off.
Since many are experiencing the same problem, it could be due to a compatibility issue with your TV, issue with the machine’s power supply or the PS4 hard drive. The entire incident rooted back to when the firmware of the user’s TV did an update.
However, plenty of users revealed it to be the hard drive. The solution is simply removing the hard drive, boot up the PS4, switch off the PS4 and boot again the machine. It appears that the issue will then be fix.
