Ghost Games laid off EA staff and they could either take compensation or join Visceral and work on Battlefield 5, which sources say will make its arrival this year.
It has been said that Battlefield 5 is going to arrive with a police theme, which would make a change for the military background that fans expect to see in the game. At the moment we don’t have any idea as to whether the codename Havana is related to the setting of the game. EA did say that they have “entered a consultation period for some positions in our Ghost Games U.K. studio”, however they haven’t made any comments on the rumours surrounding Battlefield 5 at the moment.
