Pokebank US Release Date Announcement May Be Skipped

North America Pokemon players are still waiting for the Pokebank to arrive. Following the recent incident where the Pokebank’s release resulted in the servers crashing, Nintendo had to delay its release until the servers are stable enough to handle a huge traffic.

At the moment, parts of the Japanese Pokemon community have managed to secure a copy of the Pokebank for themselves. As for the rest of the world, the players have been awaiting an announcement from Nintendo.

As of today, the eShop quotes the Pokebank as TBD which means it is pending for arrival. The North American Pokemon players are clearly unhappy that no timeframe were given by Nintendo on the Pokebank’s release. On top of that, the game developer is really poor when it comes to communicating with Americans.

Normally, an announcement will be made 2 days before anything comes for a release. As for the Pokemon community, they are beginning to think that there might not be any announcement after all.

This seems likely as having a release date will put the servers at risk of crashing all over again. It makes perfect sense since players are expected to race against one another in getting the Pokebank. There will definitely by a super-high traffic as players tries to secure the Pokebank simultaneously.

Perhaps Nintendo might just do a surprise release in a bid to prevent a server crash. If so, then fans need to continuously monitor the eShop in case the Pokebank becomes available. The best tip is to also check on Japan.

It is very likely that Nintendo will release the Pokebank in Japan before coming to the US. So once the Japanese got themselves the Pokebank, expect the Pokebank to arrive in the US very soon.
