If you have been following the official Pokemon Go twitter, you would have noticed that it was filled with Brazil users begging Niantics to release the game in Brazil first.
Since Olympics will be happening in Brazil next month, a lot of people thought that Niantics will focus on releasing the app in Brazil just in time for the big event. Brazil fans were hoping that after the huge Japan release, they would be next but that did not happen.
Instead of Brazil, Niantics decided to release the game in Hong Kong leading many to believe that Niantics might be planning to release the app in Asia first before taking on another region.
There has been no new country added since the Hong Kong release and the fans are not too happy about that especially after Niantics CEO commented at Comic Con that they are working to release the app to a new country every day.
