The Pokemon game started with only 151 Pokemon in the beginning but the amount of Pokemon available right now is a few times more. The current count is at 722 but it looks like we won’t be seeing all 722 Pokemon when the new Pokemon Go game is released.
The new Pokemon Go game developed by Niantic Labs is already available for testing in Japan and some fans manage to date mine the app to see what else is in store for us.
What they found out was that the game will only allow players to catch the original 151 Pokemon that the game started with. That is not all they got either. It seems like the app will also award players with all sort of badge for different achievements like walking a certain distance.
Like the newer Pokemon games, this app will also come with day and night cycle but we will have to wait and see how that will affect the game.
