Samsung Galaxy Note users can now get the opportunity to bring their device back from the dead. Samsung might have ceased all updates coming to this very first phablet but now, users of the Galaxy Note can update their device to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
The ROM, developed by Lightning, is meant for the Galaxy Note GT-I7000 variants only. It will offer multi-window support, over the air update support and floating window. More importantly, the custom ROM is stable, fast and smooth as it is based on the Android Open Source Project.
If you’re still a Galaxy Note user and is looking to update your phablet, you will need to root the device with ClockworkMod. Heck, just follow the guide below.
