Nintendo US Updates Fans On Pokebank Release Delays

The US Pokemon community is in a state of frustration following the long, silent delay for the much anticipated Pokebank. Nintendo had made the situation worse for failing to address the US fans accordingly and already rolling it out for Japan again.

What the fans are demanding is a time frame on when they can expect the Pokebank to arrive outside of Japan. This is what Nintendo has failed to deliver which angered the Pokemon population.

Since Nintendo has failed to go public on the matter, the fans have taken their queries to the game developer personally. One fan known as ThatHipsterGamer shared the company’s response at Reddit.

It appears that Nintendo tried to calm the fans down from a different angle. The company said:

“…you’ll agree that it’s better to have a slight delay than to have a game that doesn’t live up to your expectations”.

This is true and fans can’t argue on this one. However, the response email too disappoints the fan the moment these got mentioned:

“Our goal as a publisher and as a developer is to meet a game’s projected release date. However, those plans may be altered for a variety of reasons to ensure that the quality of the game meets our exacting specifications. I’m confident you’ll agree that it’s better to have a slight delay than to have a game that doesn’t live up to your expectations.”

For a start, the Pokebank is a service application for players to utilize. In no way it is a game. This statement from Nintendo could only mean two things. Either the person from Nintendo has no idea what the Pokebank is or the email is simply automated.

It has been a month now since that disastrous launch of the Pokebank. Nintendo better act fast as the longer it delays a global release, the angrier the fans become.
