Most sports’ video games are produced by EA and it often gets released on an annual basis. We’ve seen it with the likes of FIFA and now, Madden NFL is set to repeat this feat again.
It seems that winter is going away now and a whole new season of Madden NFL is about to begin. Madden NFL 2015 is nearing its release and American footballing fans are certainly looking forward to this upcoming instalment to the highly popular franchise.
Expectations for the game are sky high. With EA tapping on its revenues on sports-based games, fans are certainly worried if Madden NFL 2015 fails to deliver. As such, not a high expectation is in place for the game. Here are 3 minimum requirements for Madden NFL 2015 to be a success.
1. The Broadcasting Team.
Every game is handled by both Jim Nantz and Phil Simms. Not that there is anything wrong with that but too much of something is certainly bad. There should be a diversity of broadcasters instead of being fixed to one.
2. The Pass Rush
This feature seen in the last NFL title can be really tough to understand. There is also that on/off switch when playing the game which still remains a mystery to everyone. EA should keep it simple next time.
3. Simulation
It is important to note that a major final can really have its effects on the players. As such, major game days should be made like how a major game day should be. EA should have pre-show, half-time talks and such. While it won’t change the scoreboard, it definitely does add in that much needed realism to fuel to players’ adrenaline.
These expectations for NFL 2015 are something that EA can deliver. Failing to do so will only spoil the entire season for NFL fans around the world.
