Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Google Nexus 6 are two heavyweights coming for a release much later this year. With so much rumours and speculations surrounding both devices, we have decided to put them in a duel against each other and see which is better.
The Galaxy S5 has the best display at the moment and the Note 4 is expected to improve on that. Since it has a much larger display, Samsung are going to put in QHD on it resulting to the 1440 x 2560 resolution.
As for the Nexus 6, it is unlikely for the device to have QHD. Instead, expect it to come above average with IPS TFT Full HD 1080 x 1920 resolution.
Then there is the hardware. It is obvious that the Note 4 will run on the Snapdragon 805 with 3GB RAM. The phablet will come in either 32GB or 64GB variants.
As for the Nexus 6, it is expected to run on the Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM since it is based on an earlier model (LG G3 or HTC One M8). The storage is also lacking at 16GB and 32GB.
The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to repeat the camera on the Galaxy S5. Google will be looking to improve this aspect of the Nexus device and it is expected to be a 13MP OIS camera with plenty of features to toy with.
In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is going to be the baddest device this industry has ever seen. Then again, these are based on rumours and the S5 is a clear example on how many rumours failed to materialize. As such, please do take this with a pinch of salt.
