It could be because the LG G Flex 2 sales were less than impressive last year but it is clear that LG has decided to put the LG G Flex 3 aside and focus on the LG V20 this year.
Fans of the Flex series were hoping that 2016 would be the comeback year for the LG G Flex 3 after the disappointing LG G Flex 2 last year. LG’s decision to reduce the size of the display did not sit well with the fans that they were hoping LG would make the necessary changes this year.
It was believed that the LG G Flex 3 was supposed to be announced alongside the LG V20 at IFA this year but that did not happen. With the LG G Flex 3 missing from IFA, it most likely meant that there will be no Flex model this year.
We do not think the LG V20 is going to be a good replacement for the LG G Flex 3 but all eyes are on the LG V20 right now especially with the Note 7 falling from grace.
