Fans of The Last Of Us franchise who are anticipating the next sequel to arrive this year are in for some disappointment. A leak coming from Sony itself revealed that The Last Of Us 2 is still in productions and won’t be arriving until 2015.
While most leaks are considered as rumours, this one seems more likely to happen. This can be seen with Naughty Dog being really busy in developing Unchartered 4. In addition to that, the Playstation exclusive developer is still looking to launch The Last Of Us Left Behind DLC.
To make things worse (or great), the complex technological advancement in the PS4 console means that game developers need a lot of time to utilize every bit of the machine in order to deliver a next-gen game. Since the PS4 is very new, it requires plenty of try and error to understand how the console works.
Despite the fact that Naughty Dog has a great reputation for developing a game in a short time, the game developer has to tap out on this one. On another note, it can be positive for the fans as the delay would only mean a better game.
