Just last month, Evad3rs launched a statement confirming that the jailbreak for iOS 8 will only be ready in early 2015. Today, however, iPhone 5S users can already jailbreak the iOS 8.1 via another mean known as Pangu8.
For starters, users will have to run iTunes and create a new folder. There, they will have to store Pangu inside the folder. Once done, double-click the Pangu file to mount it before adding to icon into the folder.
Now, tap Settings on your Springboard and select Passcode. Make sure it is set to off. Then, click on Settings at the top left corner of the Settings menu before selecting Find My iPhone 5S located at the iCloud menu. Once found, make sure the switch is at the off position.
The next step is to set on the Airplane mode and connect to the iPhone 5S to the PC. Do make sure that a backup has been created prior to the process. Now, open the option menu from the Pangu8 icon and select open. Ignore the security warning and run the application.
Simply follow the instructions and Pangu8 will take care of the jailbreak for the iPhone 5S.Once the process is completed, plug the iPhone 5S out. The device should restart and run on the jailbreak iOS 8.1.
