HTC One Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update Rolls Out Over In Europe But With Bugs

The HTC One Google Play Edition received the KitKat 4.4 update in November of last year and then the Developer Edition and US unlocked handsets were treat to the update a short while later.

Up to now owners of the HTC One in Europe have been left waiting for the arrival of the update, but today this has changed as the latest release has started to roll out.

SFR the French carrier was the first to offer the KitKat 4.4.2 update to owners of the HTC One. This happens to be the first EU version of the HTC One to be updated and should mean that other regions in Europe should see the rollout soon.

KitKat 4.4.2 offer owners of the HTC One the latest Sense 5.5 UI and the device is said to run faster after being updated to the new software. While the news of the roll out is good, it’s not all good, as some owners who have the update already have been complaining there is still a bug in the firmware which relates to the HTC One camera.
