After all the leak and speculation, Google has finally admitted that they will be launching two new flagship smartwatches. The device will be coming with the latest Android Wear 2.0.
According to Google, the device will be built by a third-party manufacturer and like the Nexus smartphone, the manufacturer will be allowed to stick their logo on the product.
The consumers’ interest in smartwatches has been dwindling but it looks like Google is trying to get the consumers to be excited about smartwatches again. The new Google smartwatch will be arriving in the first quarter of 2017 so the wait is not long.
The new Android Wear 2.0 will come with a few new features like Android Pay, Google Assistant, and a few more apps that users will not need to connect to their device. Do you think now is the time to work on a new smartwatch?
