Sony has named Bloodborne, the highly anticipated new IP by Demon’s Souls developer From Software, as yet another platform exclusive.
Until the publisher’s E3 press event tonight, the game had been referred to only as “Project Beast”, but a teaser trailer introduced by Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida revealed the game to be a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
Little is known about the game, but the trailer bills it as a deeply atmospheric gothic horror game that appears to borrow elements from From Software’s previous work.
Development is being led by Demon’s Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki, with an approximate release date set for some time next year.
