Just because Porsche was first does not mean they are the best at it and Audi wasted no time pointing that out with their 2018 Audi RS5. It has been announced that like the Panamera 4S, the upcoming Audi RS5 will also be fitted with a biturbo V6 TFSI engine.
In the Porsche Panamera, the engine delivered about 440hp and 408lb ft of torque but the 2.9-liter V6 engine that the Audi RS5 will be running on will deliver about 450hp and 442lb ft of torque when it arrives.
With the engine, the Audi RS5 will be able to go from a standstill to 60mph in 4 seconds and have a top speed of 155mph. Besides the Audi RS5, the Audi RS4 will also be coming with the same engine.
Production for the Audi RS4 will be starting in December while the PS5 production will be starting in June this year.
