Subaru and Mazda have both made amazing crossover SUVs, so how do the Subaru XV Crosstrek 2.0i Premium compare with the Mazda CX-5 Sport.
The Crosstrek 2.0i is a four wheel drive vehicle with six-speed transmission. Both SUVs have a 2-litre, four-cylinder engine. The Mazda is 6.1% better on motorways and is 4% more fuel efficient than the Subaru.
The Subaru has some exclusive features like heated front seats, Bluetooth, climate control A-C and handsfree calling. The Mazda has some features that the Subaru doesn’t, like keyless ignition, one-touch windows, powered external mirrors and a power tilt steering wheel. There’s also cruise control. Both cars have keyless entry, USB and iPod ports and auxiliary audio input jacks.
The Crosstrek 2.0i Premium costs $21,995, which is a bit more pricey than the Mazda CX-5 which is $21,395. So, the Mazda is just slightly ahead on fuel and price.
