The numbers are out for the Mazda CX-5. Thanks to Japan, we now know the price of the Mazda CX-5 as well as the specifications of the upcoming model.
Mazda has just released some additional detail about the 2017 Mazda CX-5 in Japan. The 2017 model will be coming in with three engine option. The base model will be powered by a 2.0 liter SkyActiv-G engine that will be offering about 155PS as well as 196Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. There is also the 2.5-liter engine that will be offering about 190PS as well as 251Nm of torque. Then there is the 2.2-liter diesel engine that will be offering about 175PS and 420Nm of torque.
Safety features like the Advance Smart City, Brake Support, and more will come as standard safety features on all models.
In Japan, the 2017 Mazda CX-5 will retail for 2,462,400 yen which is an equivalent of $20,800 based on the current exchange rate. Of course, the price might not be the same when it is brought over to the US but at least we have a rough idea of where the Mazda CX-5 in terms of price.
