Jeep took a big jump when they decided to fit the Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Hellcat engine and because of that, some people thought that they would be seeing the Jeep Wrangler with the same engine as well. The Jeep Trailcat concept at the Easter Jeep Safari event did not help either but Jeep has already made it clear that no such model is in the making.
So does that mean that the dream of driving a Hellcat-powered Jeep Wrangler is over now? Well, not really. Dakota Customs from South Dakota will now allow you to buy your own Hellcat Jeep Wrangler.
The Dakota Customs version will be powered by a 6.2 liter V8 Hellcat engine that will be offering about 707hp and 650lb ft of torque. Of course, with such an upgrade, you don’t expect it to be cheap at all.
If you are looking to own one, the Jeep Wrangler with the Hellcat engine is going to cost you $56,000 on top of the Wrangler model.
