Mao Zedong is famous for China’s Cultural Revolution and soon, the Xiaomi Mi 3 will be responsible for the China’s smartphone revolution. When it was launched yesterday, 5,000 units of the Mi 3 was sold in the pace of 17minutes.
Soon, Xiaomi will be upsizing the quantity to 6,000 units and we expect it to go sold out yet again. After all, the Mi 3 is considered to be a powerful smartphone. It runs on the 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB RAM. There is a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front shooter that snap great pictures. Those images will be stored in the 16GB internal storage.
There is no reason to why one should hate the Mi 3. It is fast, powerful and cheap. While it might not be as great as the OnePlus One, it is surely a better choice than most mid-tier Android smartphones out there.
While it might run on the Android 4.2.2 Jellybean at the moment, Xiaomi’s representative promised that the Mi 3 will get updated to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. As such, it is one smartphone that will give you your money’s worth.
