The latest Hyundai Genesis can seriously save the driver a lot of money. Here in Korea, the Genesis is equipped with a GPS system that is able to locate and reveal a speed trap that is fixed at the side of the road.
Whenever the Genesis nears a speed trap zone, it will let out a warning to the driver. If the driver missed the warning call, they don’t have to worry as the system will automatically slow the car down to the legal speed.
Such a feature is a dream comes true for every Genesis owner. Unfortunately, it is only available for the Korean variant. Those Genesis for the rest of the world, including the US, does not come with such service.
An insider from Hyundai explained that the GPS system is still in its development and is not ready for the mass market. On another note, lawyers are not approving of the technology.
Aside from the speed trap technology, the Genesis also comes with adaptive cruise control along with lane keeping technology and emergency braking. These features are available for every 2014 Hyundai Genesis.
