The LG G3 has a lot of anticipation built towards its release. This is due to the common expectation, which suggests the G3 to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 slayer. However, it seems that the fans got it half right this time round.
While the Note 4 will indeed be killed by an LG device, it won’t be the G3 that will get the name for it. Instead, another device will be coming from the Korean company and it will revolutionize the world of smartphone.
This is bound to happen as LG announced yesterday that it has finally developed a 6” QHD display that is capable of offering 491ppi. At the size of 6”, this is really amazing as it is by far better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8.
On the other hand, the ppi achieved is still short of the LG G3. The device managed to offer 534ppi on its screen. On the bright side of things, the technological breakthrough made by LG is not going to stop there. The company confirmed that it will be producing 600ppi and 700ppi smartphone panels.
While no specific period is mentioned, LG proudly announced that its 4K displays will be ready in the near future. By that, we can expect it to appear somewhere in August or September. If so, then the next LG device will surely be better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
