2015 Ford Bronco: SVT Approval Is The Ticket Into Production

For decades now, many car enthusiasts have been waiting for the next Ford Bronco. This once great SUV was last seen in 1996 and it is unsure why Ford is pending to give it a refresh.

However, rumours revealed that the reason why Ford didn’t create a new Bronco is because of an approval. It seems that the only way for the Bronco to step into production is if it is developed by SVT, like the Raptor. With the latter coming to complete halt next year, Ford are now banking on the next Bronco.

This was confirmed after Ford announced that they will launch the Bronco at the end of next year before mass producing it in early 2016. The 4×4 SUV is expected to run on the 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 engine, which will be capable of producing 420hp.

There will also be a diesel option. In detail, it will be the 4.9-liter Powerstroke V-6 diesel engine that will deliver 330hp and 645lb-ft of torque. Having a diesel engine would mean that the Bronco will be fuel efficient, and will also come with so much power.
