It is no secret that Guerilla Games is currently producing an RPG title that offers an open world environment with unique Eastern art featuring in it. Many gamers believe that the game is going to be Killzone 5. After all, the description matches perfectly with what was offered in the Killzone series.
However, the big twist happened when Guerilla Games revealed that the game in production is not Killzone 5. In a recent Reddit’s AMA with Samrat Sharma, the senior online producer revealed that the game developers wishes to offer something new instead of being known as a Killzone studio.
Sharma further added that it is a big step taken by Guerilla Games. The company is now exploring new directions and hope to create an open world game.
This mysterious IP is still early in production and it won’t be featuring on E3. Sharma claims that there is still so much to do with the future game that it is far from ready for an unveiling.
Fans of the Killzone franchise are probably distraught upon learning this. On the other hand, they are equally excited for the game in production.
