Automobile fans seem to be mourning the pain. Not the death of a loved one, but rather, because the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe isn’t exactly what we’d expected. The anticipation was huge, even after the positive responses from the Civic Sedan, but the Civic Coupe didn’t receive as much attention as it should.
The Civic Coupe, displayed at the 2015 LA Auto show, had die-hard fans feeling a tad too disappointed. Powertrain options mirroring the Civic Sedan, 2.0-litre, four-cylinder base entry and a turbo-charged, 1.5-litre four-pot as the higher-end engine; and that’s just about it.
Even the press release states that the Civic Coupe is dynamically styled, more powerful and fuel-efficient (probably just to sway fans’ attention away from being disappointed), but is it really it? We’ll just have to see for ourselves.
