The all-new upgraded design of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra has arrived on the US shores, at the LA Auto Show specifically. It now has new powertrains and a much more simplified look.
The Hyundai Elantra features a hexagonal grille with horizontal slats, narrow taillights stretched across the trunk, and a little expansion to the overall size: length growth of 0.8-inches to 179.9-inches, width growth of an inch to 70.9-inches, but the wheelbase remains at 106.3-inches.
What about the interior? On the inside, there is a metallic trim that runs across the dashboard. Seats are available in both cloth and leather (that are made of SoyFoam™). Then, there are also two infotainment choices underneath the base stereo, one of which includes a rearview camera, and another of the navigation.
In terms of safety, a seven-airbag system is also available as well as rear doors that feature dual impact beams. Also, the advanced 8.0-inch navigation system has enhanced touch sensitivity, increased screen brightness and a split-screen display showing map and music data.
With all the upgrades (and whatnot) that are featured in the new Hyundai Elantra, it’s going to be very exciting for fans that can’t wait to get their hands on the car. Stay tuned for more details.
