Although we do know that the game is still being developed, we do not know when the new Dead Island 2 game will be ready. While most people believe that the game will be arriving this year, new reports suggest that the wait is far from over.
It was revealed that Sumo Digital might have decided to throw out everything that the previous developers made so that they can start fresh with the game. That means that the game will be getting a new mechanic and story.
Since we do not know that the previous story was about, it is hard to say if the new story is better but maybe Sumo Digital felt that the previous story was not good enough and they wanted to offer something to the fans.
If that is true, that could mean that the wait is far from over for the fans. We are hoping to hear something at E3 this year. What do you think?
