Fans have been begging Subaru to give the Subaru WRX STi a proper performance upgrade for years now and what better time to do it than now. Subaru will be celebrating their 50th year in America this year and it is believed that Subaru will be launching a few special edition model to mark the occasion.
It is believed that the Special Edition 50th Anniversary STI could be coming in with the upgrade that the fans have ben waiting for, a new turbo engine to replace the outdated engine that Subaru has been holding on for so long.
There were also demands for Subaru to work on a special hatch version of the Subaru WRX STi. The ideas itself are pretty interesting but whether Subaru will do it or not is a whole other matter.
It will be interesting to see what Subaru choose to settle with at the end of the day.
