Porsche was the first to fit their vehicle with the biturbo V6 TFSI engine and since they did not have any competitors, they were essentially the best but with Audi now announcing their plans for the Audi RS5 and RS4, it looks like the Porsche Panamera 4S might have some competition soon.
Motor1 reported that like the Porsche Panamera 4S, the upcoming Audi RS4 and Audi RS4 will also be coming in with a 2.9-liter biturbo V6 TFSi engine but unlike the Porsche Panamera 4S, the Audi RS4 and Audi RS5 engine will be offering about 450hp and 442lb ft of torque when it arrives.
The Porsche model was offering about 440hp and 407lb ft of torque so Audi clearly winds here. With the engine, the RS4 and RS5 will only need 4 seconds to hit 60mph from a standstill and will have a top speed of 155mph.
The Audi RS4 production should be starting at the end of this year while the RS5 will start in June.
