Back when Mass Effect 4 was first announced by Bioware, the huge fan base was on overdrive as they discuss on everything related to the gaming franchise. One of them was about the save game transfer which was a common practice in the first Mass Effect trilogy.
Of course, that was eventually written off as unlikely since Mass Effect 4 will debut on the next-gen consoles and transferring a save file from an older gen console is downright impossible. Besides, Commander Shepard won’t be part of the next Mass Effect trilogy.
Now, fans might want to re-think their conclusion on the matter. It seems that there is a possibility that save game transfer is possible in Mass Effect 4. This is after a pre-order for the Mass Effect trilogy for the PS4 and the Xbox One went live on in Chile.
The local retailer’s website added the Mass Effect trilogy for the next-gen consoles which strongly hints that it is in the works. Bioware once said that it was considering porting the first trilogy, together with all the DLCs, to both the Xbox One and PS4. However, little is known that the title is confirmed.
Nevertheless, this is something that will take the hype to a whole new level. There isn’t a better way to start Mass Effect 4 than with completing the first trilogy in a marathon.
