Are you captivated by the updated Chevy Silverado that came out a few days ago, but looking for something a bit more robust? Well you won’t have to wait around for much longer as Chevy has also just brought out a new Silverado HD.
Even though the new Silverado 1500-series has been renowned over the outgoing version particularly due to its new style, the updated Silverado HD is more about its improved equipment. Some models now come with a new Digital Steering Assist system created to make towing safer and easier. It comes with a new gooseneck/5th-wheel trailer prep package which allows Chevy’s new robust truck to tow up to a maximum of 23,200 pounds. The interior equipment of the vehicle has also been improved with a new MyLink system along with either a seven- or available eight-inch display, wireless phone charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, and more.
Consumers have the option of two versions (2500HD and 3500HD), two cargo box lengths, four trim levels, three cab sizes, and various powertrain and drivetrain options for a whole range of different combinations. There will be various different editions and packages as well, such as the Z71 for using off-road and Custom Sport Edition if you’re after a sleeker appearance, and also chassis cab and CNG versions.
