A source said that Samsung is going to launch the KiKat 4.4.2 update for the Samsung Galaxy S5, S4, Note 3, Note 2, S3, Note 3 Neo, Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Mega 5.8 and the Mega 6.3.
Google have started to test the KitKat 4.4.3 update and this is just a minor update. It is said that it fixes bugs along with enhancing speed and bringing with it some other improvements. It was thought that Samsung could skip past Android 4.4.2 and bring handsets up to date with 4.4.3.
We don’t have a lot of details about the 4.4.3 update at the moment, but we heard that Samsung will roll out Android 4.4.2 to some of the handsets towards the end of the month, it will then arrive on all devices next month.
So it is looking as though even with all the rumours that have been going around recently about Samsung not updating the majority of their handsets, they are testing the KitKat update for some of the most popular handset. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that it will not get cancelled, as it has done in the past.
