Sony is going on a massive streak as it continues to launch the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to more Xperia devices. Earlier today, the update was rolled out to the Xperia Z3 Dual, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra.
Users of the aforementioned devices should have received the update prompt by now since the Lollipop was rolled out via OTA. If not, they can manually search for it by utilizing the Software Update page listed in their device’s settings.
Sony event went out to tease that they will be looking to launch the update to the Xperia T2 Ultra, C3, Z, L, ZR and Tablet Z in the coming weeks.
It is unsure on what has triggered Sony to go on a frenzy but we believe it to be with the coming of the Android M. Perhaps, Sony wants to wrap up the Android 5.1 update before the Android M gets released in the coming months.
