Both the latest Honda HR-V and Jeep Renegade are two of the latest, and the most attractive compact SUVs in the market right now. While they might belong in the same segment, both the HR-V and the Renegade have completely different things to offer.
Looking at the Honda HR-V, the car is built to offer a decent driving experience with great fuel economy. This is quite the obvious since the HR-V runs on a 1.5L 4-cylinder unit with a CVT transmission. The HR-V is also competitively priced and this makes it the true value-for-money car.
As for the Renegade, it has something completely different to offer. The 1.4L turbocharged engine and 6-speed automatic is not really economical. However, the Renegade is equipped with a 4WD mode that when engaged, will make the car unstoppable in the unforgiving off-road terrain.
